- Affidavit duly notarized – Declaration of actual possession (no litigation involved).

- NOC OC from Fire Department

What is the procedure for obtaining a liquor license?
The rules for liquar shop business in different states are different but in most states liquor shops are distributed through the tender system itself.
Each state follows its own defined rules and regulations regarding the purchase, sale and use of alcohol. Before applying for a liquor license, one should have complete knowledge of the liquor laws prevailing in that state. The State Excise Department is responsible for liquor laws.
Any person who wants to obtain a liquor license can inquire on the website of the State Excise Department, or by going to the licensing authority or by visiting the nearest shops. To get a liquor license, it is necessary to follow the following steps-

After the verification process, a public notice is published by the state authority where the shop will be opened.

Public information is hung for some time at the place where the shop will be opened. And during this period, if the local people of the area have any objections, the applicant has right to defend his / her point of view. And if there is no objection by the local people, the authority will proceed to review the application.
What is the validity of a liquor license?
A liquor license is valid for one year, that is, it is legally required to renew it annually, and this means that a renewal fee has to be paid every year. Any person who is required to renew his license must apply for payment of renewal fee as well as equivalent before thirty days from the date of expiry.
Guidelines issued by excise department
These guidelines have been issued to ensure that consumers are served safe and quality liquor. Also, to control the sale and purchase of liquor in India –
Buy liquor only from licensed liquor stores.
Any person who is not an income tax payer cannot get a liquor license.
The liquor purchased from any army canteen is only for army personnel and not for the general public.
If a person is traveling from one state to another, then he should know the extent of the liquor limit of the traveling state.
No person under 21 years of age can buy alcohol but the rules may vary from state to state.
Do not take alcohol from any illegal source.
Do not serve alcohol in any unauthorized premises, as it is an illegal act.
The license holder must display the price of each brand of liquor served in the liquor store. In addition, a menu rate list showing the price of alcohol served for discos, clubs, restaurants, etc. is mandatory.
Finally, no person, whether male or female, under 21 years of age, should be employed without remuneration in any place where alcohol is served. This age range may vary from state to state.
